Materials

  • Worsted-weight yarn (or a fingering or DK weight held together with a lace-weight mohair/alpaca strand for a lighter fabric)
  • 4.5 mm (US 7) circular needles, two lengths, plus DPNs or a long circular for magic loop
  • 3 mm (US 2.5) circular needle, plus DPNs or magic loop, for the cuffs and neckline
  • At least 6 stitch markers, one in a contrasting color
  • Removable markers for tracking short-row turns
  • Scrap yarn or a stitch holder
  • Tapestry needle and tape measure
