What is inside the pattern?

Inside the 26-page English PDF you’ll find written rows and stitch counts for each size, step-by-step photos and links demonstrating selected techniques, including increases. The links support individual steps; they are not a full start-to-finish video.

Is this the right level for me?

Intermediate. You’ll work knit and purl stitches, make left- and right-leaning increases, decrease, pick up stitches and knit small circumferences in the round. The button loop uses a crochet hook, and the picot hems are folded and sewn. The yoke has size-specific shaping rows to follow; the sleeves include longer stretches of stockinette between decreases.

The details you’ll love making

A little ruffle, shaped row by row

The neckline is built as you work the yoke back and forth. The instructions give the shaping rows for each size, so you can find the line that belongs to your project and follow the ruffle as it grows.

Once the yoke is complete, the sleeve stitches are set aside and the body continues below.

How it comes together

Know the finishing before you cast on

The jacket begins with a shaped yoke worked back and forth; the sleeves are knitted in the round. After the knitting comes a little hand finishing: fold and sew the picot edges, knit the ties, crochet the button loop and sew on the button.

It’s a project for a maker who enjoys both shaping and those final details.

What is included?

Inside the 26-page English PDF you’ll find written rows and stitch counts for each size, step-by-step photos and links demonstrating selected techniques, including increases. The links support individual steps; they are not a full start-to-finish video.

Is this the right level for me?

The button loop uses a crochet hook, and the picot hems are folded and sewn. The yoke has size-specific shaping rows to follow; the sleeves include longer stretches of stockinette between decreases.

Does this project involve sewing?

Yes. The picot edges are folded and sewn by hand, and the button is sewn on. You’ll also knit the ties and use a crochet hook to make the button loop.

Will I need to calculate the shaping myself?

The PDF provides size-specific written rows and stitch counts for the yoke and sleeves. Pick out your size before you start so it is easier to follow the relevant numbers.

Can I use yarn I already have?

The pattern specifies sport-weight yarn at approximately 110–130 m per 50 g and a blocked stockinette gauge of 24 stitches and 32 rows per 10 cm. Check that you have enough for your size and make a gauge swatch; different yarns can produce different fabric and fit.
