What is inside the pattern?

English instructions and lace charts for a two-colour tee in eleven sizes, XXS–6X.

The design combines a lace yoke, a waved change of colour and scattered butterfly stitches on the body. A size guide helps you choose the fit.

Is this the right level for me?

Confident beginner ready for lace, with experience following a pattern in the round. Work the decorative yoke and its increases, hold sleeve stitches, then return to the sleeves after the body.

The two colours are used in separate sections; the lace creates the waved transition. This still needs attention to the yoke chart and shaping.

Finished size & fit

Sizes XXS / XS / S / M / L / XL / 2X / 3X / 4X / 5X / 6X.

Finished bust circumference: 76 / 85 / 95 / 104 / 114 / 123 / 133 / 142 / 152 / 161 / 171 cm.

Allow approximately 8–15 cm positive ease at the bust. Choose by your actual body measurement plus your preferred ease, rather than relying on a letter-size label.

Materials needed

A mohair/silk yarn around 75 m per 25 g, used single, in two colours. Choose a fabric that matches the blocked gauge.

Main-colour 25 g balls by size XXS–6X: 5 / 6 / 6 / 7 / 8 / 9 / 10 / 11 / 12 / 13 / 14. Contrast-colour balls: 2 / 2 / 2 / 2 / 3 / 3 / 3 / 4 / 4 / 5 / 5. These counts apply to yarn at 75 m per ball.

3.5 mm and 4.5 mm circular needles, with 40, 60 and 100 cm cables. Adjust needle size if needed for gauge.

The finished project

Let the colours meet in a wave

The lace does more than decorate the neckline: its edge makes a gentle wave where the second colour begins. Small butterfly stitches carry a little of that interest down the body.

Choose two colours with enough difference to show the transition. The soft halo changes how the stitches look, so test the yarn combination before buying the full amount.

Your time with the needles

One connected garment, from the neck down

Work the circular yoke with its gradual increases. Hold the sleeves, continue the body, then return to the sleeve stitches.

The yoke is the section that asks for more focus. Once established, the construction lets you follow the garment down without assembling separate panels.

A few things before you begin

Choose your size, check your yarn and plan your first stitches.

Do I need stranded-colourwork experience?

The main colours are used in different sections. The transition follows the lace shape; it is not an all-over stranded-colourwork fabric.

Are these body measurements?

No. The listed bust figures are finished garment circumferences. Choose one approximately 8–15 cm larger than your body bust measurement for the intended fit.

What gauge should I aim for?

19 stitches × 25 rows per 10 cm in stockinette on 4.5 mm needles.
